Arizona Cardinals training camp schedule is out

First practice for Arizona Cardinals training camp 2018 is going to be on Saturday July 28th
We knew the time was coming. On Friday, the Arizona Cardinals released their 2018 training camp schedule.
The camp will once again be held at University of Phoenix Stadium. It is the sixth year camp has been back in the valley after moving down from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
Players will report to camp on Friday July 27th with the team gathering for the first practice on the 28th. There will only be nine practices open to the public this year, one of them being the Red and White Practice on Saturday August 4th from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Not every practice will be in the afternoon either. There will be some in the morning with the last open practice being on Monday August 13th, a departure from previous years.
The schedule:
Saturday July 28th – 1:30-4:00 p.m.
Sunday July 29th – 8:00-10:40 a.m.
Monday July 30th – 8:00 – 10:40 a.m.
Thursday August 2nd – 3:00 – 5:15 p.m.
Saturday August 4th – Red & White Practice 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Monday August 6th – 3:00 – 5:15 p.m.
Wednesday August 8th – 8:00 – 10:40 a.m.
Thursday August 9th – 8:00 – 10:40 a.m.
Monday August 13th – 3:00 – 5:15 p.m.
The Cardinals have a preseason game at home on Saturday August 11th at 7:00 p.m. against the Los Angeles Chargers. It will be the first of two home preseason games, the other being against the Denver Broncos on Thursday August 30th at 6:00 p.m.
As you will see, camp breaks earlier than in years past. It will end prior to the second preseason game at the New Orleans Saints on Friday August 17th. The Cardinals also have a preseason game at the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday August 26th.

Parking and admission to the open practices are free as has been the case in previous years. However the team did not indicate any other activities surrounding camp this year. Their website did hint there would be more information though to come on that.
