NFL Network’s Good Morning Football show debated which team controls the NFC West and one person actually believes that is the Arizona Cardinals

Not everyone has given up on the Arizona Cardinals.  NFL Network show GMFB tackled who controls the NFC West on their show on Tuesday.

Sure, the Los Angeles Rams were selected by two of their four show hosts but one took the Cardinals and one took the San Francisco 49ers.  All agreed the ship may have sailed on the Seattle Seahawks, although that is not something that is believed on this end of things.

Kay Adams was the one who selected the Cardinals.  She gave two simple reasons for her selection, David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.

I couldn’t agree more.  Johnson returns 100 percent healthy and Fitz will be Fitz.  He has caught more than 100 passes each of the last three seasons to go along with three consecutive 1000-yard seasons.

Adams mentioned how there really is no reason to believe there will be any decline in his production.  He only seems to be getting stronger as his career winds down.

Hey, you aren’t going to get any argument from me.  I think most Cardinals fans would agree with that assessment as well.

While understandable that many football people and even some Cardinals fans, are down on the team this season with a lot of change, especially at quarterback, its not like they have assembled a bunch of misfits either.  This is the same show that earlier in the offseason picked the Cardinals as a possible sleeper for the playoffs in 2018.

The Rams are getting much love as are the 49ers right now.  They’ve both made some very good additions to already growing rosters.  The Rams had the number one offense last season and on paper only seem to be better going into 2018.

Hopefully the Cardinals don’t make Adams eat those words.  It will be a tough division top to bottom this season.  There is no reason to believe right now that the Cardinals can’t hang with any of them though.
