Arizona Cardinals training camp is just now a little over two weeks away at University of Phoenix Stadium

With a lot of off the field news hitting this past week on the Arizona Cardinals, it is almost time to start paying attention to on the field news on a daily basis. Training camp is now just 15 days away.

The camp will have a bit of a different feel and experience for Cardinals fans this year as opposed to the last five at University of Phoenix Stadium.  A lot of that has to do with a new coach and a number of new faces on the field, particularly at quarterback.

Rarely do you see the entire quarterback room and coaching staff go through changes at once but that is what we have.  Not everything will be different though.

Larry Fitzgerald is still at receiver.  David Johnson is still the team’s starting running back but he is currently holding out, so when he makes his debut is up in the air.

Chandler Jones returns as the defensive leader.  He was the NFL’s sack leader a season ago.  Guys like linebacker Deone Bucannon, cornerback Patrick Peterson return while new faces on the offensive line arrive like Justin Pugh.

There are some things to know about this year’s edition of training camp though that may be helpful.  Camp opens July 27th.
