There is a lot of hope in the air and a lot of unknowns to be answered for the Arizona Cardinals over the next six weeks

The night before it all starts.  The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp in Glendale on Friday to start their 2018 campaign.

The team has been busy trying to adjust the 90-man roster ahead of the reporting date.  They also added three players to the PUP list on Monday.

Running back David Johnson apparently ended his holdout as he was seen practicing with quarterbacks and rookies earlier in the week.  They reported to practice in Tempe on Monday.

Now with a new head coach, a new quarterback, and new hope the Cardinals have found a franchise quarterback for the future, the team can get down to business.  It has been a long seven months waiting for this day to come.

As with every season we all have hopes and expectations.  The expectations part is not so high from people outside of Arizona.  Certainly there is the unknown how certain players will come together, how will injured players perform upon their return, and just how good is the new coaching staff.

That coaching staff has a new offensive coordinator in Mike McCoy.  The Cardinals are going to be a run first offense.

That said, here our my five wishes as we head into camp.  First open practice at University of Phoenix Stadium is Saturday afternoon.
