Give it time

Fans should give this team some time.  While we are all excited the Cardinals are going to be back on the practice field and this time in front of fans, we also need to temper our fandom on both ends of the candle.

Don’t get too down on this team early.  Don’t get too high on them either.  Remember this is preseason.  This is training camp.

Not much is likely to be given away to those who might entertain coming and scouting the team during open practices.  Remember this during preseason games too.

Teams have vanilla offenses and defenses in the preseason.  This is the time to evaluate the best 53 players for the regular season.

Also, don’t be yelling out to replace Sam Bradford with rookie Josh Rosen on the first preseason pick he throws.  Same goes for the start of the regular season either.

We should know pretty quick what the Cardinals have in Bradford once the season starts.  That said, we will want the Cardinals to give him a chance to succeed (or fail) early in the season too.
