As we enter day four of Arizona Cardinals training camp, there are some defensive players that are making noise already

Despite the fact he lead the NFL in sacks last season, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones still sometimes doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.  Even Madden 19 gave him a lower than expected rating.

However he is definitely shown early on he is ready to bring it on.  He’s already broken a tackling sled in practice.  The guy one tough football player.

The incident even had some fans on Twitter joking it was time for a random drug test on him.  While very funny, let’s hope something like that never comes into play.

Other guys making noise include rookie cornerback Chris Campbell.  Campbell, out of Penn State, spent most of last week on the PUP list before coming off in time for the first practice this past Saturday.

Campbell had a few pass breakups and also had an interception.  It might be a stretch to say he could challenge for a starting spot right away but don’t ignore him.  He could be there sooner than later.

Second-year players, linebacker Haason Reddick and cornerback Lou Young III both also received praise from practice observers on Monday.  Both broke up passes.

They were in pads on practice on Monday for the first time, so some hitting was definitely going on.  They will be back in pads on Tuesday at University of Phoenix Stadium.

However Tuesday’s practice will not be open to the public.  They will be practicing outside as well. The team is off on Wednesday.

The next open practice to the public will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:15 p.m.  Friday once again will be an outdoor practice closed to public.

Let’s keep hoping indoors or outdoors that everyone stays healthy.  Oh and rest in peace to Jones’ tackling sled.
