Doing things different doesn’t mean good or bad

New head coach Steve Wilks puts a brick at the locker of each player in camp on the first day of training camp.  He gets mocked by football fans across the country.

There are some fans locally that didn’t mock it.  Yours truly thinks it’s different.  Some may have seen it as a rookie move but it could be the right message if delivered correctly.

The way Wilks has run the practices so far has also generated some discussion.  Let’s all remember he isn’t Bruce Arians.

Every coach is going to have their own spin on how things should or shouldn’t be done.  We should all be good with that.

There is nothing wrong with generating discussion about it though.  I’m not a fan of the outdoor practices but that’s me.

Next. Arizona Cardinals need Deone Bucannon. dark

In the end, season results will ultimately dictate what did and didn’t work.  Even if the Cardinals finish with a winning record, that doesn’t mean things shouldn’t be tweaked for next camp and vice versa.
