What to expect against the Chargers

It’s a new start for many on the field and on the sidelines.  Both teams have guys they want to evaluate.

For some players this may be the most playing time they get all preseason.  Teams are constantly tweaking rosters, even after the first preseason game.

The two teams are scheduled to play each other in the regular season in Los Angeles on November 25th.  Don’t expect either team to show too much at this point.

As mentioned the Chargers are still deciding who will start at quarterback.  For the Cardinals, it will be interesting to see how long they allow Bradford to play.  Also, will the Cardinals get backup Mike Glennon some playing time?

Mostly younger guys will see action.  Expect to see rookie running back Chase Edmonds and receiver Christian Kirk a lot.  Kirk is from the Valley and is expected to have a lot of family and friends on hand to watch his professional debut.

The main goal is to escape UOP Saturday night with no injuries.  If they manage that, then that’s what matters the most.
