Mike Glennon

Look, Glennon is a guy that wasn’t going to see the playing field except in the preseason.  He is a now a journeyman quarterback who is a backup at best.

Saturday night further proved just how much of a backup he is.  He is not an NFL starting quarterback.  Some people like him and can see an upside.  However unless the Cardinals lose both Bradford and Rosen in the preseason, Glennon might not even make this team.

The big question will be do the Cardinals carry two or three quarterbacks in the regular season.  Former head coach Bruce Arians did both at times.  What will new head coach Steve Wilks do?

Then you have a guy like Chad Kanoff who comes in against backups and does what Glennon couldn’t.  If they ultimately decide on three, does Kanoff have any chance?  Probably not but it is an interesting thought.

Glennon went 2-7 for 11-yards and one interception, against Changers backups, on Saturday night. That’s not going to win you a lot of jobs in the NFL.
