The Arizona Cardinals running backs are going to be fun to watch from top to bottom in 2018

You never know what you are going to get year to year with the Arizona Cardinals running backs.  With a healthy David Johnson and two viable options behind him, it could be a very good season on the ground in the desert.

That is of course if they stay healthy.  When you lose your number one running back for the year in the first game of the season, it kind of puts a damper on things.  It also leaves you scrambling.

The Cardinals were a running back by committee last season that had its ups and downs but had to continually make changes for a couple of reasons.  Other than running back inefficiency, there was also offensive line inefficiency.

With a re-built offensive line and one that appears to be much healthier than last season, look for the running game to take off just like head coach Steve Wilks would like.  From day one he said this team will run.

As much as we have grown to love the passing game in Arizona, and it will still be there, this is going to be a run first offense.  Let’s take a look at who they are, including the return of the fullback.
