The Arizona Cardinals injury report on Thursday looked very familiar
Well, at least they’ve been consistent so far during practice. The Arizona Cardinals released their injury report on Thursday and it was unchanged from Wednesday.
Again, the only player not to practice on Thursday was defensive end Markus Golden. That’s unfortunate for him because that no likely means he will be ruled out for Sunday’s game.
As we’ve mentioned before though, this shouldn’t be alarming. No need to rush a guy that isn’t ready. He missed all of camp and the preseason. Head coach Steve Wilks said this week if a player hasn’t practiced by Thursday, he finds it difficult said player will be ready for Sunday.
As for the other injuries, three of their defensive linemen were again limited in practice. Defensive tackles Robert Nkemdiche, Corey Peters, and Olsen Pierre were all limited.
Expect at least one or all of them to be available come Sunday. The others limited were on offense.
Tight end Jermaine Gresham and running back T.J. Logan found themselves limited again. It sounds like Gresham may not be ready yet. Hopefully Logan will be able to play and be available for at least special teams.
There again was only one player on the list that was a full participant in practice on Thursday. Offensive lineman Korey Cunningham has a thumb issue.
As for the Washington Redskins, their injury list looked almost the same as Wednesday. receiver Maurice Harris was out again with a concussion.
Linebacker Zach Brown and quarterback Colt McCoy, were both listed on Wednesday, were as well on Thursday but were both full participants in practice. They did have one addition to the injury list on Thursday however.
Tackle Trent Williams was listed Thursday with a knee injury. He did not appear on the list on Wednesday and was limited in practice Thursday.
