The Arizona Cardinals released their injury report on Thursday
Amazingly not much change on Thursday with the Arizona Cardinals injury report after practice on Thursday afternoon in Tempe. Everyone limited on Wednesday was again limited on Thursday, save for one player.
Defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche, limited on Wednesday, was a full participant on Thursday. He had three tackles and a sack against the Washington Redskins.
The two non-injury related reports on Wednesday however did practice in full on Thursday. They included quarterback Sam Bradford and receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
There was one addition to Thursday’s report. Linebacker Haason Reddick was listed as limited in practice due to an ankle injury. He didn’t play much last Sunday in the 24-6 loss to the Redskins.
While the injury report may seem long to some fans, they just have some guys banged up. At this point the only two players in danger of being ruled out are offensive lineman Andre Smith and defensive tackle Olsen Pierre.
Some are worried about the health of Bradford heading into the game against the Los Angeles Rams. Since the schedule came out people have been pointing to this game where they believe he will get hurt thanks to the Rams defensive line.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. I get the jokes but right now the Cardinals need a healthy Bradford. Rookie backup Josh Rosen is not ready to get into an NFL game, yet many expect him to be playing sooner that later.
Bradford returns to play against the team that drafted him. He doesn’t view it as anything special however, says it will be just another game.
There is also the two players who missed came and came off PUP when the season started, defensive end Markus Golden and tight end Jermaine Gresham. While both limited so far in both practices this week, no further word on their status for Sunday at this point.
