The Arizona Cardinals head west to take on the Los Angeles Rams in their first NFC West battle of the season

Oh how the times have quickly changed.  A couple of years ago this matchup would favor the Arizona Cardinals.  Now, as they head west to face the Los Angeles Rams, they are heavy underdogs.

The Cardinals (0-1) are coming off a loss to the Washington Redskins in the season opener.  The Rams (1-0) are coming off a road win at the Oakland Raiders last Monday night.

What: Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

Where: Los Angeles Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA

When: 1:05 p.m. PT

TV/Radio: FOX 10 (Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth); Arizona Sports 98.7 FM (Dave Pasch, Ron Wolfley, Paul Calvisi)

Many fans have written off the Cardinals and their chances on Sunday.  However, they still have to play the game.  Don’t expect the Cardinals to come out as flat as they did in week one.

That doesn’t mean they will win, it’s a tough challenge with the high-powered offense led by quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley.  They also have a pretty darn good defense.

Despite what the lines in Las Vegas say, the Cardinals, have reasons to believe they can win on Sunday.  Here are three of them.
