Despite yet another loss, there were some bright spots for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday

Another week, another loss.  The Arizona Cardinals took it on the chin from the Minnesota Vikings in a 27-17 loss on Sunday in Minneapolis.

There were some great performances however on Sunday.  It all started with one guy on the defensive line.

Chandler Jones

The man is a beast.  Again he is showing he is worth every penny he is earning.  As good as his performances are, without looking at the score, you’d expect this team to be a winning one.

However they aren’t.  It isn’t the fault of Jones though.  Once again, he was all over the place on Sunday.  He was in Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins face most of the day.

Jones had five tackles.  Of those five tackles, two of them were hits on the quarterback.  He had 1.5 sacks on Sunday.

He batted down a Cousins pass.  That’s all you can ask for when Jones hits the field.  You want him to be a difference maker.

Jones is slowing down opposing offenses and keeping the Cardinals in the game over the last several weeks.  There is no quit in Jones and I love to see that.
