The Arizona Cardinals face the Denver Broncos on Thursday night but one of their stars is already chirping

Don’t get me wrong, Denver Broncos linebacker is among the best in the game.  However he didn’t hold back this week in how he feels about the Arizona Cardinals and their chances to beat them on Thursday night.

“We’re going to kick their ass”, Miller said ahead of the Thursday Night Football matchup at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.  To be fair, he was just saying how he honestly felt.

The Cardinals (1-5) host Miller’s Broncos (2-4) for the first time since 2010.  Neither team has had much positive happen since the season started, at least from an on the field standpoint.

Looking at how the Cardinals have played over the first six weeks, it is understandable how Miller feels.  He’s probably not the only one to feel like they can come in here and whip a team that so far is 0-3 at home.

However, he is the only player that has voiced his opinion publicly.  While I’m sure there are many people that love his brutal honesty, sometimes that is a fine line, especially right before a game.

It becomes bulletin board material.  Yes, the Cardinals should take it personally.  They may not even care he said it though.  If they do, the best thing to do is not say anything about it before the game and take care of business on the field.

If the Broncos were running over opponents and sitting at 5-1 or 4-2, or even 3-3, it might be more acceptable for Miller to speak his mind.  At 2-4, he might want to just keep it to himself at this point.

If I’m a Broncos fan though, you do have to appreciate he still wants to give it his best shot and still feel like he is better than any opponent he faces.  I have a feeling Miller doesn’t need to say it out loud for fans to believe it though.

Next. Arizona Cardinals offense needs fixing. dark

Miller is definitely one of the more entertaining characters in the NFL.  He is also one of the best defensive players in the NFL.  He should just let his play speak for itself and not have to go proclaim a victory days before a game is played.
