The Broncos have a running game, something the Cardinals should have with David Johnson but don’t for whatever reason thus far.  There are a couple of guys we should keep our eyes on Thursday night according to Walden.

RZ: We’ve heard a lot of talk about running back Phillip Lindsay.  His name seems to come up a lot.  Is he future at running back in Denver?

I honestly believe he can if he can get more touches. He had a great first two games. During this losing streak, he’s been reduced. Not sure what is going on, but I believe he and Royce Freeman can be the answer at running back if Denver runs the ball more than 15-17 times.

RZ: Who is one player on offense and one on defense for the Broncos that fans should know more about?

Courtland Sutton on offense and Bradley Chubb on defense. I picked two rookies because they are making an impact on the team. Chubb sacked Goff three times last week, which is pretty impressive. Sutton had a solid catch in last week’s game and could play a big part in the passing attack.

RZ: Prediction time, who wins Thursday night and why?

Von Miller’s comments were very inspiring and I believe this team is ready to snap this losing streak. While it is not going to be easy going on the road on a short week, Denver gets it done. I believe they will force Josh Rosen into a couple mistakes and the offense will do just enough to win.

Not too shocking he’s going with the Broncos, especially given they are looking to snap a losing streak.  He may end up being right.

The Cardinals have a lot of work to do to win this one.  Winning could possibly save offensive coordinator Mike McCoy‘s job for now, something many Cardinals fans don’t like the prospect of.

It will take more than several runs up the middle to get the running game going.  The Cardinals need to get imaginative on offense.  There hasn’t been much time to prepare for the Broncos however.

On defense the Cardinals are going to need to find a way to stop the run.  They haven’t proven they can do that yet.  They gave up 195-yards rushing to a weak rushing team in the Minnesota Vikings just days ago.
