The Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs announced their inactive players ahead of Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium

It might be a big day for Arizona Cardinals receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk as they will be without two of their receivers on Sunday.  Both Chad Williams and Kendall Wright are inactive against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Cardinals also have three offensive linemen listed as inactive.  They will be without guard Mike Iupati once again.  He could be reaching the end of his time in the desert.  He has had trouble staying healthy.

Also out are offensive linemen Colby Gossett and Zack Golditch.  Hopefully Rosen can stay on his feet long enough to get off crisp passes and the line can create brig enough holes for running back David Johnson to run through.

The Cardinals will also be without defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche.  His calf is injured and Cardinals fans seem to be growing tired of waiting for him to come around.

Some have already dubbed Nkemdiche as a bust.  The man just can’t seem to stay healthy and when he is, his performance is just so inconsistent that there is a feel this could be near the end of the line with the team for him as well.

Safety Eddie Pleasant is the final inactive player.  This means that safety Tre Boston returns.  He has missed the last few weeks.  He will be a welcome return.  Boston has three interceptions for the Cardinals in his short time with the team so far.

As for the Chiefs, their biggest name on the inactive list is receiver Sammy Watkins.  We had been warned all week he likely wouldn’t play.  Also inactive is safety Eric Berry, offensive linemen Mitch Morse and Kahlil McKenzie, defensive lineman Justin Hamilton, defensive back Josh Shaw, and linebacker Frank Zombo.

Next. Cardinals should ask former coach to return. dark

There could be a lot of points put up on Sunday, particularly by the Chiefs.  Hopefully the Cardinals utilize the offensive weapons available to them on Sunday.  They also need to take advantage of Watkins being out of the Chiefs lineup.
