The Arizona Cardinals travel to face the Green Bay Packers in Wisconsin for just the fourth time since moving to the desert 30 years ago

When the schedule came out back in April, even before we knew what kind of team the Arizona Cardinals would have, this game appeared daunting.  December in Lambeau Field against quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers seemed less than ideal.

Now that their is snow on the field and the Cardinals are 2-9 and in a complete downward spiral on and off the field, it would seem Sunday seems an almost downright impossible situation they find themselves in.  So in others words, don’t expect much from the Cardinals against the Packers.

Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin

When: 11 a.m. MST

TV: Fox 10 (Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston)

Radio: Arizona Sports 98.7 FM (Dave Pasch, Ron Wolfley).

The Cardinals are huge underdogs headed into this NFC matchup.  However the Packers haven’t been blowing their opponents away either.  They sit at 10th place in the NFC playoff race at 4-6-1.

The Packers are looking more and more like they won’t make the playoffs, but this game could give them some life as a team in the hunt in December.  They are 4-0-1 at home.  And its snowing on Sunday.  This will be nothing close to what we saw 23 months ago in Glendale for their playoff matchup.
