The Arizona Cardinals 2019 schedule includes playing the entire NFC South and AFC North

If you thought the schedule the Arizona Cardinals just played was rough, wait until you see how 2019 is going to pan out for them.  They have up to a possible five early Sunday window games in the midwest or east coast.

The home schedule does bring in some attractive teams for fans from other cities who have now made Arizona home. Not that we like opposing teams fans in State Farm Stadium but it is a fact of life and some of these games should help fill the stands.

Home: Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions

The Steelers and Browns each last played in Arizona in 2011.  There are plenty of fans from both teams that live in the Valley of the Sun.

The Falcons and Panthers have not played in Arizona since 2013.  The Cardinals have been blown out in their last three meetings in Atlanta.

The Lions played in Arizona in 2018, so they are the only returning non-division opponent next season.  Of course the Cardinals also have their three NFC West foes at home as well.

The road schedule again looks somewhat daunting based on how the 2018 season ended.  Hopefully the NFL schedule makers are kind and spread some of these tougher games out and are nice when it comes to cold weather cities.

Road: Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants

Outside of the NFC West, the Cardinals go to Baltimore and Cincinnati for the first time since 2011.  Baltimore is a playoff team in 2018 and has young quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The Cardinals also will head to face the New Orleans Saints, the number one seed in this year’s NFC playoffs.  That is never an easy place to play.
