Not much to write home about in 2018 for the Arizona Cardinals but these plays should be remembered as a take away for future hope

As we all know there wasn’t much we will or even want to remember looking back at the 2018 Arizona Cardinals season.  However there were some bright moments for the team last season that are worth re-visiting.

10. Josh Bynes sack of Patrick Mahomes

There were a number of sacks the Cardinals came up with this past season.  Many were from guys like Chandler Jones, who lead the team with 13 of them.

However none may have been bigger within the context of a game than Josh Bynes sacking Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.  The sack came in the fourth quarter of what was a tight game at the time.

Bynes, who only had two sacks all season, got one of them at a crucial time.  The Cardinals were trailing 20-14 at the time and had a chance to get the ball back and try to take the lead.

Bynes sacked Mahomes for a seven-yard loss to get the ball back to the Cardinals. just under two minutes into the fourth quarter.  Unfortunately Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen threw an interception two plays later to quickly negate the huge sack.
