Jesse James

Sure, we know every year it seems either a Pittsburgh Steelers free agent either signs with the Cardinals or at least visits with interest.  We aren’t sure what James’ plans are but he would be a great asset to quarterback Josh Rosen.

As the backup tight end in Pittsburgh, he had to play behind Vance McDonald, who quickly overshadowed James.  James had 30-receptions last season for 423-yards and two touchdowns.

The issue here is that the Cardinals are going to have a difficult time reeling him in.  He is likely to be well sought after and can imagine he will look to contenders that need tight ends.

That’s doesn’t mean the Cardinals shouldn’t try because they definitely should.  If they do go after and land him, maybe they give Seals-Jones another shot.  With 64 receptions between the two last season, they could give it one more go with the air raid coming to town.
