Round 2, pick 1 (33rd overall) – Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

It has been no secret the Cardinals offensive line is in need of help, a lot of help.  With inconsistent performance to consistent injury to aging lineman the line can’t be ignored.

While they will likely also try to address the offensive line in free agency, this pick would also be a smart one with the first pick of the second round.

Taylor, who plays right tackle, was named to the All-SEC Second Team by Athlon Sports in 2018.  He was part of a line that only allowed 18 sacks last season.  We all know how Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen was constantly running for his life last season.

Going offensive line early is a smart move.  Depending on who you believe, Taylor could be picked as early as the late first round but there is a good chance he is available at 33.

If Taylor is off the board, maybe the Cardinals look to receiver if N’Keal Harry is available.  Either way, they should get a very good player in an area of need here.
