Anthony Lynn – First Responders

For the commercial that tugged at the heart strings the most, this won.  Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn was saved from near death in an incident with a train back in 2005.

This commercial is poignant but an excellent message how we shouldn’t take our first responders for granted and be thankful for those that are there for us who find ourselves in life threatening situations.

It also suggests how those involved in football are humans just like you and I.  They go through tough times and life and death situations like you and I.

As Lynn is in the firehouse talking to a group of first responders he doesn’t realize that those that were there to help save his life were right in front of him.  Then they introduced themselves to him.

Hard to fight the emotions on that.  It was an ad we didn’t expect to see during such a joyous occasion such as the Super Bowl.  I for one though am really glad the story was shared.
