Stella Artois – Jeff Bridges/Sarah Jessica Parker

This may have been one of the funniest commercials that aired during the Super Bowl.  Stella Artois took us back to 1998 when The Big Lebowski was released in the theaters and Sex and the City debuted on HBO.

We got to see Jeff Bridges’ The Dude and Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw come together to order the unusual.  The Dude instead of his White Russian and Bradshaw instead of her wine both ordered a Stella Artois.

It was hilarious to hear The Dude pronounce Stella Artois.  It sure was great to see him show up on screen for the first time in 20 years though.

While it may have not been the roll on the ground hilarity we are accustomed to seeing in the past with Super Bowl commercials, this one certainly perked fans up.  This ad appealed to both sexes.

Even if we don’t see a Big Lebowski 2 or a Sex in the City revival, I think this ad should tide us over for the time being.  The Dude abides.
