The Arizona Cardinals are on the clock with the number one pick in the 2019 NFL Draft

There are a lot of us out there trying to guess what the Arizona Cardinals are going to do with the number one pick of the 2019 NFL Draft.  Will they take a defensive end?  Will they trade?  Will they take someone at a surprise position?

No one really knows for sure other than what they want to believe.  Only the Cardinals front office knows for sure and it is even believed by many they don’t even know yet.  There is still time.

So what do others think they will do?  Here are five guesses from around the country as to how the first pick will go down.

Dan Bickley, arizonasports.com

Bickley believes the Cardinals should take Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.  He isn’t alone but he voices his opinion as to why it should happen.  He also announces his support of current quarterback Josh Rosen.

He believes that if Keim took a risk on Kliff Kingsbury, why not go all out and get Murray to replace Rosen.  Bickley says now is the time to replace Rosen.

It’s a take a disagree with.  I get the Murray love but not at the expense of giving up on Rosen yet.  The move sets the Cardinals back a year in the rebuilding process.

Sure, Rosen could still be a bust but that is the risk Keim should be banking on right now.  Oh, and we can stop comparing Murray to Drew Brees and Russell Gordon.
