Jon Gruden’s love for Kyler Murray is the NFL’s worst kept secret. But with the fourth pick, he might not be able to get their guy. However, with this trade, Gruden gets his guy for pretty equal trade value in terms of trade value as the Cardinals give up the first and 129th pick (43) to move down just three spots, which means they can secure one of Nick Bosa, Quinnen Williams, or Josh Allen.

In my opinion, this is the best value the Cardinals can get because it ends with them still drafting a prospect worthy of the first pick. Adding a late first-rounder which could be used to get a playmaker (Marquise Brown comes to mind) and an early second-rounder is just icing on the cake.

While this trade doesn’t have the quantity that others will, the Cardinals land an excellent pick and add two more picks that can be day-one starters to the mix. On the other side of the trade, Gruden gets his guy and will surely be able to garner a high pick for quarterback Derek Carr who had an MVP caliber season not too long ago.
