Do you really think Steve Keim would just give away a generational talent to their division rivals? If the 49ers really want Nick Bosa, they will need to pay a steep price. And when I mean steep, I mean it.

Just two years ago, the 49ers got two third-round picks and a fourth-round pick from the Bears to move down just one spot. But that won’t cut it for Steve Keim, who should raise his price for the 49ers.

Adding Nick Bosa to the 49ers defense would fill their biggest need, in turn making them a legitimate threat to take the division for the foreseeable. So they will need to give up a pretty penny in what could be the fourth pick in the second round, and two mid-to-late round picks. Acquiring wide receiver Richie James Jr is also a nice get for the Cardinals, as the 23-year-old’s speed should fit well in the Cardinals offensive scheme that prioritizes running after the catch.

This is a win-win trade for both teams. Not only do Cardinals still have the chance to get Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen, or Kyler Murray, they disallow the 49ers from getting another impact player at the top of the second. Of course, the 49ers also get their guy.
