8. Max Garcia

The Cardinals made an effort to get better on the offensive line.  Getting Max Garcia is a step in the right direction.  He also played for new Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who was his head coach with the Denver Broncos at the time.

Garcia was drafted by the Broncos out of the University of Florida in 2015 in the fourth round.  He has started 41 of the 57 games he has played in his professional career so far.

The Cardinals need offensive line depth that can stay healthy.  We all know what kind of issues the Cardinals have had with that over the past three seasons.

The guard is listed at 6’4, 309 lbs, so he should be able to push people around.  With running back David Johnson behind him let’s hope so.

His issue is also injury.  He is coming off a torn ACL in 2018.  It remains to be seen how long he will have to hold out until he has healed.
