3 things the Arizona Cardinals got wrong in free agency

Leaning more on older talent
The Cardinals should be commended for at least going out and hitting the market right off the bat. With their number one waiver status, no one can blame them for jumping on guys.
Despite the leadership that linebacker Terrell Suggs brings or the experience that linebacker Brooks Reed brings, were they the best choices going forward. Both of them could end up being one-year experiments.
There not so much wrong with the talent they got here. Was it the right time though? It almost feels as if they got them too late in their careers, especially in Suggs case.
It’s a good story and no doubt Suggs should immediately help but for how much longer can he help? There is the realization that they are trying to right a wrong from 16-years ago and not drafting him but is this a spot they could have saved for someone younger as they try to re-build?
I praised bringing Suggs in from the standpoint of he should help the other young players but for the overall health of the franchise, this may have not been the best move. We shall see come September.
