Letting producers go

The pickups of linebacker Jordan Hicks and defensive end Darius Philon seem like very good pickups right now.  But what about the guys the Cardinals already had they maybe should have been given another chance?

The Cardinals seemed to get great effort from linebacker Josh Bynes.  Bynes was surprisingly let go after being arguably the best player on defense last season.

If Hicks can stay healthy, then maybe this doesn’t turn out to be the wrong move.  Bynes is also still a free agent.  Do the Cardinals maybe invite him back for camp later on if he doesn’t latch onto a team by the time camp comes around?

Then there is Markus Golden.  He did sign with the New York Giants.  Early on in the offseason Golden said both his camp and the Cardinals were talking but it seems the team lost interest.

Golden was off in 2018, still battling back from his ACL injury in 2017. The Cardinals should have given him one more season at least.
