A lot of talk around the number one pick but these are three things the Arizona Cardinals need to avoid in this year’s NFL Draft

So much time has passed yet just 11 days remain until the 2019 NFL Draft.  Many people are still fixated on the number one pick for the Arizona Cardinals.

They are rightfully so, however there are 10 picks total as of right now the Cardinals own.  It will be easy to get it wrong.  Whether the picks are right or wrong can’t be judged completely until the regular season gets going.

Need to draft a receiver

It doesn’t have to come in the first, second, or even third rounds.  However the Cardinals need to ensure they continue to focus on the receiving position.

Maybe they can trade a few picks for a veteran receiver?  Use those picks however to continue building where it is needed most.

Sure, the Cardinals didn’t ignore the position in free agency but the jury is still out there on whether they got the right guys.  Remember, Larry Fitzgerald decided to come back.

The Cardinals owe it to Fitzgerald to add more weapons to the offense.  It starts at receiver.  Fitz, as the saying has been over the last several seasons, could be playing his last season so don’t only get one to help him but get one to possibly replace him down the road.
