Week 3 – Carolina Panthers
Sunday September 22, 2019 – 1:05 p.m.
Carolina is in much of the same predicament as the Cardinals. Although they have Cam Newton at quarterback, will he be available on this day? Will he even play much at all in the 2019 season?
The question marks start there, especially on offense. They do have Christian McCaffrey but they’ve gotten a little thin with the receiving core. Sound familiar?
The Panthers haven’t visited Arizona since the 2013 home opener when the Cardinals came away with a 22-6 victory. Since then, the Panthers have two playoff wins and a regular season win over the Cardinals.
Look for the Cardinals to turn the tide in this one. After losing close the week before and coming back home, this is a great chance to start another winning streak.
History: Panthers lead 11-5
