Jaquan Johnson was a team captain at the University of Miami, he was a guy that was loved on and off the field for the Hurricanes. Standing at 5-foot-10 weighing 191-pounds he should spark he should he aggression and passion for the game on the field. He is also known for giving motivational speeches that give his guys energy to compete at a high-level making him a guy coaches love to coach and players love to play with.

Johnson was a wrecking ball on the field for the Hurricanes by forcing fumbles and being in the right position to get hard-hitting tackles. He was a good vocal leader in the locker room, but also did a great job in calling out fakes and recovery for his teammates and making that switch. He has awareness for the young player he is and can make plays for all defenses.

Where Johnson has strengths in being in the right place and reading coverage, he sometimes struggles with keeping up with his opponents. He shows signs of quickness but lacks that speed that allows safeties to recover when beat. Also being a shorter safety at his height he will have trouble with jump balls and covering bigger receivers and tight ends.

The safety from the U has gotten comparisons to someone Arizona Cardinals fans are familiar with, that being Budda Baker. He would be a great addition to that no-fly-zone in Arizona and a great locker room addition to help build a culture.
