The Arizona Cardinals’ roster is stacked full with players that need a bounce-back season in 2019.

Coaching played a major role into the Arizona Cardinals’ 3-13 2018 season. But it can’t all be blamed on Steve Wilks and his staff, after all, the players do the playing. Although the Cardinals are attempting to rid themselves of any signs or causes of their lowly season, there are a few players remaining that need to have a better season than last years.

Players including Sam Bradford, Josh Rosen, Phil Dawson, Deone Bucannon, and Jermaine Gresham are obvious candidates to make this list. Each was disappointing in their own right, and some played a major role in losing big games. But, luckily, they aren’t on the roster anymore.

Instead of piling on reasons to dislike former Cardinals, let’s look at current Cardinals that need to improve on a lowly ’18 season in order to be in the desert for the foreseeable future. However, it’s worth noting that none of these players are in the same boat. There are stars and former first-round picks alike that show promise on this list.

These seven players each have traits that can make them stars or already are stars. But they didn’t show all that last season, and it shows in the team’s record. Although not many players here are likely to be cut, a second season of disappointing results could hinder their spot in the Cardinals’ plans.
