The Arizona Cardinals have some older veterans on their roster who are towards the end of their career and may be getting to see some players this season for the last time

As much as we loved Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald returning for his 16th season and linebacker Terrell Suggs returning home to Arizona for his 17th season, we know their time left in the NFL is short.  The same can be said about some 2019 opponents as well.

There are a few players who are close to the end of their careers on the Cardinals schedule. These players are likely playing not only their last game against the Cardinals this season but also could be near the end of their playing days overall.

Eli Manning

For the last several years, much like Fitz, fans have wondered if this is it.  Will this be the last season for Manning, at least in a New York Giants uniform.

Manning is 3-3 against the Cardinals in his career.  He is also entering his 16th season in the NFL.  It very well may be his last with the Giants drafting quarterback Daniel Jones in April.

Manning hasn’t exactly torched the Cardinals over his six games against them.  He has thrown 10 touchdowns but also thrown nine interceptions.

The two teams meet in New York on October 20th, which also happens to be the same day Patrick Peterson is eligible to return from his suspension.  Manning could be in for one more long afternoon against the Cardinals.
