The Arizona Cardinals are a team in transition but they should be a lot of fun to watch win or lose in 2019

There is a very good chance no one on the Arizona Cardinals will win an NFL league award in 2019.  That doesn’t mean they won’t have great contributors and great performances from time to time.

So who will be the best players for the Cardinals in 2019?  Well, here is one prediction for you.

Cardinals Rookie of the Year

Top candidates: Kyler Murray, Zach Allen, Byron Murphy, Andy Isabella, Deionte Thompson

This group of rookies collectively may be the best the Cardinals have had entering a season since Steve Keim took over the general manager duties in Arizona.  They had a great draft and also may have found a couple of gems as free agents.

These five players were all part of the draft back in April.  Murray, the number one pick, would certainly be considered right off the bat as a starter.

Allen on defense could end up being the best on the line overall before it is all said and done.  He could be the steal of the draft.

Murphy is going to challenge for a starting spot right off the bat thanks to the suspension of Patrick Peterson.  Isabella right now seems to be the best overall receiver they drafted but don’t discount Hakeem Butler or KeeSean Johnson.

Winner: Murray
