Ted Ginn Jr

When the Cardinals signed Ginn in March of 2014 to a three-year contract, some of us thought, ok, what do they know we don’t?

His best season as a receiver prior to 2014 was in 2008 with the Miami Dolphins.  The thought was he’d help out there and on special teams as a returner.

He was not much of a help in either department for the Cardinals that season.  He had just 14 receptions for 190-yards that season.  His did managed a punt return touchdown but did not do much in the kick return game.  He averaged 10.7 yards per punt return and 19 yards per kick return.

Those three seasons in Arizona turned into just one.  After playing for the Carolina Panthers in 2013, he returned to play for them in 2015 and 2016.  Ginn had a 22-yard rushing touchdown and two receptions for 52-yards in the Panthers 2015 NFC Championship game against the Cardinals.
