#84 Mike Iupati

As per usual, the Cardinals were always looking for better offensive linemen.  One of their struggles over the years has been running with the ball.

When free agency came calling in 2015, the Cardinals made a big splash by signing Iupati.  At the time he was signed, he was considered the fourth-best free agent on the market.

He was coming off of three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances with the San Francisco 49ers.  He did it again in ’15 to make it four years in a row.

Iupati was considered one of the best right guards in the game, at least from a run blocking standpoint.  His pass protection was just average.

He helped pave the way for the Cardinals to rush for 1,917-yards in 2015.  That resulted in a 13-3 record, best in franchise history.

Unfortunately injuries ended up playing a bigger role in his last two seasons with the Cardinals, playing in just 11 games in 2017 and 2018.  He left via free agency after the 2018 season.
