The Arizona Cardinals top 100 players in franchise history, celebrating 100 years of football in 2019 from Chicago to St. Louis to Arizona

Not only is the NFL celebrating 100 years so are the Arizona Cardinals.  Starting in Chicago then to St. Louis, and then finally landing in the desert in Arizona in 1988.

They’ve now been in the desert 30 of those 100 years.  Here we count down from numbers 80-71.

#80 Steve Breaston

He was fun to watch while he was in a Cardinals uniform.  Yet, his career in Arizona was not to be long lasted.  He spent four seasons with the team in Arizona.

Of those four years, three of them were well spent.  He was considered the number three receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.

Breaston was vital in the success of the Cardinals in 2008, their Super Bowl season when they won the NFC West and made their historical playoff run.  He finished with 1,006-yards receiving on 77 receptions that season.

He wasn’t a prolific scorer but he got the job done between end zones.  He had just seven touchdowns scored in his three productive seasons.  He only had eight receptions for 92-yards in his rookie season of 2007.
