#67 Ken Stone

Stone played the last four years of his career with the Cardinals.  He was with the team from 1977-1980 in St. Louis.

He made the most of his time in a Cardinals uniform.  The defensive back had 20 of his 27-career interceptions with the team.  He had seven interceptions with the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to going to St. Louis.

Most of his damage with the Cardinals was done in those last three seasons in 1978-’80.  He also had seven fumble recoveries in those last three years.

His nine interceptions in 1978 were good enough for second in the NFL that season.  His six the season after in ’79 finished sixth-best in the NFL.

Not only did he get the interceptions but also was able to rack up return yardage with them.  In that ’78 season he had a total of 139 total return yards after interception, good for seventh in the NFL.
