#65 David Boston

Boston played his first four seasons in the NFL with the Cardinals in Arizona.  He was drafted eighth overall in the first round out of Ohio State in 1999.

While he had 40-receptions in his rookie season, he really broke out in 2000 and 2001. In 200, he finished over 1,000-yards receiving on 71 receptions. He scored seven touchdowns that season.

As good as his ’00 season was, ’01 was even better.  He finished that season with 98 receptions for an NFL-high 1,598-yards.  He averaged almost 100-yards receiving per game at 99.9 which too lead the NFL.

He dropped off quite a bit in 2002, which prompted Arizona to part ways.  He finished his last two seasons in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins.

He was at his best in Arizona though.  That ’01 season he finished on the Associated Press First Team All-Pro. His Pro Bowl selection in ’01 would be his only trip.
