The Arizona Cardinals had a lot of eyes on them on Thursday, the first time fans got to see Quarterback Kyler Murray

From most accounts, the attendance for the first day of Arizona Cardinals Training Camp 2019 was impressive, given it was a Thursday afternoon.  Naturally many wanted to see number one overall pick Kyler Murray, including NFL Network, who went live at Cardinals Camp on day one.

According to media and fans in attendance, he did not disappoint.  He threw a beautiful sideline pass to the legend, receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

There is also video of Murray running a play on a run left with his number called.  We will temper our enthusiasm since it is just day one but there is a renewed excitement in the air surrounding the Cardinals.

The Cardinals offense showed something on Thursday you saw at no point in 2018.  They went with five wideouts.  Clearly things have changed in Arizona.

Again, not to get too excited too early but those who were there certainly got a taste of what to expect this season.  Granted, coach Kliff Kingsbury won’t show his entire hand this preseason but he gave the fans something.

With the new receivers comes hope.  The Cardinals were at the bottom of the NFL in offense in 2018.  Almost anything new is welcome at this point.

The Cardinals have three young receivers to go with their prize quarterback in Murray.  Andy Isabella, Hakeem Butler, and Christian Kirk bring a lot of optimism to a group that left a lot to be desired last season.

Now, it’s not all offense, although that is the talk of the town.  The Cardinals bring a new defense as well.  Linebacker Terrell Suggs wore a Cardinals uniform for the first time in front of fans.  Second round pick Byron Murphy also brings a lot of excitement to the position.
