#59 Larry Stallings

Stallings played his entire 14-year career with the Cardinals in St. Louis from 1963-1976.  The linebacker played in all 14-games in all but four seasons.  Two of those seasons were early on in 1964 and 1965.

Ironically, that ’64 season was when he tied his career-high for interceptions with two.  He also had two in 1974.

In addition to his nine career interceptions, he also had 13 fumbles recoveries.  He returned two of those fumbles for touchdowns, one going for 62-yards and the other for 17-yards.  He returned one interception for a touchdown in 1971.

The most fumble returns he had in one season was four.  That was in 1972, which was good for fifth overall in the NFL that season.

He made one Pro Bowl in his career.  That happened in 1970.  That was also the same season he was named to the All-Pro 1st Team by United Press International.
