#52 Jimmy Hill

Hill played 11 seasons in the NFL.  Of those 11, the first nine were with the Cardinals in Chicago and St. Louis from 1955-1964.  He did not play in the 1958 season.

The cornerback had 19 of his 20 career-interceptions with the Cardinals.  He returned two of his interceptions for touchdowns, one in 1961 and another in 1963.

He made the Pro Bowl three consecutive seasons from ’61 to ’63.  He had the ninth-longest interception return in ’63, returning one 58-yards.  He also finished in the top 10 in the NFL in fumble recoveries with three in ’55.

In addition to his Pro Bowl selections, he was also named to the All-Pro 1st Team twice by Sporting News in 1962 and ’63. UPI had him on their 2nd team in that ’63 season.

Hill spent his last two seasons in the NFL with the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.  He only played in seven games total over those last two seasons. He played in 104 games with the Cardinals over his career.
