Tyler Sigler
The undrafted rookie from Wheaton may not make this team when all is said and done, however he certainly isn’t going to make it an easy decision for the Cardinals coaching staff. Sigler was the right man in the right spots at the right time on Thursday night.
He picked off Chargers quarterback Easton Stick and returned the ball 52-yards before being run out of bounds. At first it looked like Sigler might take it to the house but he eventually ran out of real estate.
On the television broadcast, color analyst Ron Wolfley indicated that Sigler’s name has come up during practice by coaches as someone that has surprised them and played well. Of course that’s practice but Sigler is so far walking the walk.
At the very least he may have bought himself more time in camp to continue to show what he can do. Also remember he could be picked up for the practice squad as well should he not fit onto the 53-man roster.
