Bad
Rush defense – it didn’t take long for the ugly head to rear again. The Cardinals gave up a 85-yard touchdown run to Vikings running back Davin Cook. However outside that run, the rush defense did clamp down, which was nice to see.
Time management – not the best as the team was trying out to close the first half. However for now, we should give them the benefit of the doubt.
The reason for that is the team had just inserted backup quarterback Brett Hundley into the game after starter Murray had played the entire first half up until the final 2:24.
Receiver Andy Isabella should have taken Hundley’s last first half pass and tried to get out of bounds. Instead he took the ball and ran back to the inside and went down.
Unfortunately the clock ran out after he went down, no points on the board. Hundley also needs to find someone closer to the sidelines in those situations.
