The Arizona Cardinals start the second half of the season on FOX Thursday Night Football

Week 9: October 31 vs. San Francisco 49ers

TV: FOX/NFL Network 5:20 PM

It’s Halloween but there will be no tricks this night, just treats.  The Cardinals for the most part have owned the 49ers over the last few years.  Things could change but the Cardinals also come into this one on a losing streak.

Last time: The Cardinals defeated the 49ers 18-15 in a fourth quarter comeback in Glendale.  They also defeated them earlier in the season 28-18.  Those two wins take the win streak over the 49ers to eight games.

Key matchup: We missed out on 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garropolo facing the Cardinals after his injury in 2018.  It will be fun to watch Chandler Jones and company chase after him this season.

Prediction: Cardinals 23 49ers 21

The win streak continues, at least for this day.  The 49ers have played the Cardinals close the last three visits to State Farm Stadium though, so don’t go blowing all of your fortune on the Cardinals to win.
