The Arizona Cardinals kept seven receivers on their 2019 regular season roster

For a position that wasn’t very deep in 2018, it could end up being the deepest on the 2019 roster for the Arizona Cardinals.  The Cardinals had as many as 11 receivers who could have made the final 53-man roster at one point or another.

With Hakeem Butler going on Injured Reserve and the team ultimately saying good bye to Chad Williams, Pharoh Cooper, and Kevin White, they made their decision on seven guys to help quarterback Kyler Murray along.

Larry Fitzgerald

Fitz enters his 16th season in the NFL with the Cardinals.  Will it be his last? We won’t know for awhile.  What we do know Fitz is upon another milestone this season.

He is about to become the second in all-time receptions behind Jerry Rice.  He has a long ways to go to catch him, however Fitz is still poised to have a great season.

Last year’s 69 receptions will seem tame to what he is expected to do in 2019.  Look for him to be back in the 80-100 receptions range.

Fantasy value: His value is still fairly high.  He should be a WR 2 or WR 3 in most fantasy leagues.  Definitely still worth starting, especially in point per reception leagues.
