The Arizona Cardinals came from behind to tie the Detroit Lions 27-27 on Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium

It was a slow start for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday against the Detroit Lions but in the end they managed to comeback and force a tie in rookie quarterback Kyler Murray’s debut.  Certainly, it felt more like a win in the desert.

There were some rough performances over the first two-three quarters.  However when it was all over there were a number of positive performances that we will be talking about for awhile.

We could look at both sides of the ball for good performances on Sunday.  It is amazing to say that considering the team was down 24-6 in the fourth quarter.

So who had the best performances for the Cardinals?  These guys brought it Sunday afternoon and look forward to 15 more of these in 2019.

Larry Fitzgerald

Does it ever get old watching Larry the Legend do his thing?  No, no it doesn’t.  He had himself a very nice afternoon.

With eight receptions for 113-yards and the late fourth quarter touchdown that put them into position to tie the game with the two-point conversion, it was vintage Fitz on Sunday.

He made a couple of great grabs in the game, including that touchdown catch.  He caught one for 41-yards and another for 45-yards.  Thank God Fitz came back for more!
