The week 2 NFL Power Rankings should come as no surprise to many but the Arizona Cardinals aren’t at the bottom, so there is that

59. What a mess week one turned out to be for the Dolphins. They gave up 42 first half points to the Baltimore Ravens. They ended up giving up 59.
Starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick never had a chance to get going with as quickly as the Dolphins were giving up points on defense. Fitz went 14-29 for 185-yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Normally that wouldn’t be such a big deal on the surface. Until you see his counterpart <a rel=. 0-1. . What happened on Sunday? Well, they got beat badly by a good Baltimore Ravens team 59-10. It was not a pretty sight. The Ravens already had 42 points on the board by halftime. The result also made for the easiest decision in the first NFL power rankings of the 2019 season.

The Dolphins gave up the most points ever in franchise history. To do that in week one means it could be a very long season in Miami.

After the game it was reported that a number of Dolphins players contacted their agents requesting trades. We don’t know names and if it was actually true but several outlets reported the story.

For their part the Dolphins say no one has approached the front office requesting a trade. We will see how this unfolds going forward.

Things do not get better for the Dolphins though. After losing to Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and company, their reward for a 49-point loss is to face the New England Patriots on Sunday.
